A few days ago I decided to create a new Blood Elf character. Since I wasn’t up for grinding my way to higher levels (again), I decided to buy the Zygor Horde Guide and see if it would really help level my character faster. Let me tell you what I’ve learned so far.

Some Background

I hadn’t found previous leveling guides to be of much use. There were various reasons, but the biggest was the way that you had to keep getting out of the game to consult the guide so I would know what to do next. It got so frustrating that for a while I used two computers whenever I played: one for the game, and another to display the current guide page. The hassle was bad enough, but the way it kept pulling me out of the game to go consult the other computer really made it less fun.

Why Zygor is the Best

Zygor Guides work within World of Warcraft. How is that different than the old guides I used? It means that the guide information appears in a window right inside the game. The guide is much more accessible, and you can stay “in” the game. This makes the entire experience vastly better and more enjoyable.

My Zygor Horde Guide also gives me lots of control over how much information I get. You can close the Zygor Guide window completely if you just want to focus on playing. If I do want help, I get two choices. I can have s little window with just enough information to know what I need to do next. If I really want help, I can switch to the large Zygor Guide window with just a click, and get tons of information about my current situation and what I need to do next.

Another feature I love is the distance and direction arrow. This puppy always points to the next objective, and updates in real time so I always know where I need to be heading. It’s a great time saver, particularly once you have a flyer and can go directly toward your objective. With my Zygor Horde Guide, I get everything I need to blast through the levels super fast, without ever looking away from the game.

Do Zygor Guides Actually Get You Through the Levels Faster?

If you’re like me you’re probably thinking this all sounds really cool, but are wondering if my Zygor Horde Guide actually helped me to level faster? Well, I did a test. My brother had a character that was several levels higher than mine, who got there the old-fashioned way. He offered to have his character escort mine for a bit. I told him what I was doing & that I would do this session on my own, following the advice in Zygor. We went our separate ways. A few hours later he decided to check in on me and see how it was going. His reaction says all you need to know about how well these guides work. His first words were, “Hey! How the bleep did you get up to that level so fast? Can my guy come with yours next time?”

One of the most popular computer games of all time is Warcraft.  Many incarnations of the game have come and gone over the years.World of Warcraft is one of the hottest MMOPRG.  In this massive multi-player game, players are assigned the task of building and developing a character of a specific race to pit against the evil minions of the world.

An expansion game for WOW is called Burning Crusade. Within it players can choose from a variety of races including the Blood Elves. With the Burning Crusade Blood Elves, players are taking control of a long standing, proud army of stoic warriors.

The Blood Elves’ history is steeped in slaughter and bloodshed, hence their name. Born of the High Elf kingdom, these noble creatures were once a powerful part of the now lost land of Sunwell. When the mad Prince Arthas invaded their land and resurrected the Lich Kel-Thuzad, he decimated their people, nearly destroying the entire race.

But not all were killed. The survivors were hardened by this harrowing experience and thus became a darker version of their former selves. Studying from one of the last surviving of the royal bloodline known as Kael, they began plummeting into an even darker escapade of their history. They began tapping into the mystic energy of demonic origin and are now shunned by most of their kin.

Much before this changing of their nature, the high elves were considered outcasts from the Alliance and left their original homeland in search of something else. Thus started the home in Sunwell.

They were determined to create a life for themselves, a new beginning.

Their power and influence grew as they settled into their new home, drawing much power from the Sunwell’s mystical energies. They fed on this power, using it to develop their powers to defend themselves from many of the harsh inhabitants of the world around them.

But this hardship strengthened those that survived, making them the powerful Burning Crusade Blood Elves they are today. This is an army worthwhile of undertaking while participating in the game of Warcraft. It is a proud history and one that should be thought of with reverence and honor.

WoW Blood Elves are a race that requires a bit more finesse than the hard changing orcs for example or the slowing but relentless undead. Use their powerful magic to your advantage. Whatever party you join in this huge sprawling multi-player world will benefit from your skills.

There are many classes available to Blood Elf players. Choose one that fits your style of play as you will spend many hours in this WOW: Burning Crusade.

MMORPGs are a fairly new genre in gaming and I see a bright future for Blizzard’s World of Warcraft and other online games in the future.
