Whether your business is online or out of your house, you will need to develop a website. This will alert others that you have a business and give pertinent information about your business, your products and your services. Be sure to include all information that a customer might find important, such as hours of operation, an address or a phone number. Check your email frequently too, if your website is set up to allow for emails. The faster you respond, the more clients you are likely to draw in. Your website should include pictures of products and include added information about that product. Be sure to include any warranties that will be included with the products as well. This will keep you from accidentally misleading the client, because it is all out there for them to read. Honesty and full disclosure is the best policy. Remember customer satisfaction is your highest priority and also the best advertising a business can have is satisfied customers referring your your business and services onto others.

Keeping your website new and updated is important also. You do not want others to believe that you are selling a product that you took off of the market months ago. This may cause problems for you and the client if they try to purchase the product and are not able to. Adding new designs or pictures with new font colors can draw in more attention to your site. If a site looks bland and uninteresting, then it is likely that a customer will take a quick look at your page and continue searching for another page that draws in their attention, causing you to lose that sale.

Find new ways to market your website. Try affiliating your website with another site that is related to the products that you sale. This can be done by adding a link from their page to yours, and in return they may ask you to link their site from yours. The more sites that you are linked to, the more potential customers you will have. Adding a link from emails can draw in new customers too. You may find that it is beneficial to print off business cards that include your name, phone number and the website address of your company.

Increase Leverage for Your Internet Business by Outsourcing

The objective of leverage is to secure the biggest advantage with the least possible effort.  Specifically, for us, that means greatest profit with smallest personal involvement, and we can make this happen via outsourcing.

Earlier articles described ways of providing leverage by 1) re-using, and 2) re-purposing content.  In this article, we’ll discuss obtaining leverage by outsourcing recurring, or non-value-add work, and any work that simply isn’t a match with our unique skills, experience and/or character.

Marcus Buckingham and Curt Coffman addressed some interesting findings from 25 years of Gallup organization research – initially in their book, First, Break All the Rules: What the World’s Greatest Managers Do Differently, and then elaborating on those findings in several subsequent books.  Two of their findings, that are important for affiliate marketers and home-based business owners in general are these:  1) Emphasize your strengths, not your negatives, and 2) Hire workers for potential.

Online business has a rather large learning curve and involves a lot of diverse skills.  But, not very many people are talented in all of them – and even those who are, probably are not making the best use of their available time and other skills if they focus on areas that are relative weaknesses for them.

William of Occam, noted for “Occam’s Razor,” has said:  “It is vain to do with more what can be done with less.” As affiliate business owners, Occam’s Razor has a big lesson for us relative to our personal time management.

Tim Ferriss, who wrote “The 4-Hour Workweek” is a major proponent of outsourcing to virtual assistants to handle repetitive, non-value-add activities or other non-favored tasks.

Contrary to popular opinion, outsourcing is not relegated only to large businesses, but given the low cost of international VAs, even small, home-based companies can now afford to delegate a lot of tasks to VAs.

One task that many internet marketers choose to outsource is writing articles.  Many see the importance of article marketing, but either can’t write well, or simply don’t want to write, so they delegate article authoring to ghost-writers. 

Another task you might consider outsourcing to a virtual assistant (or call center) is the telephone and email follow-up required for lead generation and sales closings.

If you improve your areas of strength, you gain the benefits of leverage and multiply your results, whereas, focusing on your weaknesses will, at best, result in only an incremental improvement in results.

SEO is one of the commonest forms of web design that’s used today. Businesses use SEO’s to attract visitors to their sites. All SEO’s are certain keywords that you use when creating your website that web crawlers attach to. These web crawlers in turn bring your internet site up in search engines. One: Key Word Rich 
-Confirm your article is related keyphrase heavy. Ensure this carries through your whole site. The more keyword-rich your internet site is the more places the web crawlers can fasten to. These web crawlers ( bots ) determine where in the ranks of the search engines your internet site will be found. You must be certain that you don’t overdo it though.  

2: The title 
-Confirm your title is clear to grasp also keyword-rich. The title is one of the most important sides of creating your SEO site. Your title is the first thing any visitor to your internet site will see. Without a proper title the rest you do from that point on is pointless. When you are making your title, consider adding your top keywords. The ones that stand out the most to you may stand out to the visitor.  

Three: The content 
-Make sure the content of your website is applicable to your business. If you’re making a website shall we say about cutting hair at home, you have to be certain that you add haircutting tips in your website. If you fail to do this you may turn away your customer. The more relevant content you have on your internet site the bigger chance your customer won’t reject your website. Use web templates from Commission Blueprint 2.0.  

Four: Long Tail keywords 
-Long Tail keywords are generally 3-4 words in length. They are also the most searched words by most web searchers. The more creative your long tail keywords the more chance of your internet site being ranked higher in the search engine.  

5: Links 
-Make sure your links are of top quality. This will help produce the most visitors to your website.  

6: Straightforward to navigate 
-If your website is hard to navigate the visitor will not stay. The more user friendly you make your website the better off you’ll be. Create sections in your internet site these sections can then be implemented into new pages which makes it less complicated the visitor to read your internet site.  

Seven: Education 
-SEO’s are changing each day. Things are being added and others are being removed. Continuing your education in SEO will give you the updated information you’ll need to make the required changes to your website. The importance of continued education on SEO can’t be stressed enough. The more you learn and implement the more visitors you will have.
